For the first time in India, the internationally acclaimed movie Jesus has been released in Indian Sign Language, with English subtitles and Hindi voiceover, making it accessible to the Deaf community.
We at Indian Sign Language Hands are proud to have contributed to this historic moment by supporting accessibility for the film, which premiered at PVR Cinemas across multiple cities in India.
The film was originally created in American Sign Language by Deaf Missions, an organization dedicated to producing resources and content for the global Deaf community. Their work has brought together Deaf actors, artists, and creators to present stories in sign language on a scale never seen before.
